Lonnie Kim

Lonnie Kim is a multidisciplinary creative focused on technical direction, production, and immersive storytelling. Raised in Mexico within a Korean-Argentinian family, he grew up surrounded by different cultures, languages, and artistic influences that continue to shape his collaborative and design-driven approach to creative work.

His work exists at the intersection of theater, technology, and visual art, specializing in lighting, audio, and live production. Through theatrical productions and professional internships in audio and lighting environments, Lonnie has developed hands-on experience in technical problem solving, systems operation, and production management. Whether programming lighting consoles, designing soundscapes, or coordinating backstage operations, he is passionate about creating experiences that audiences can feel before they fully understand them.

Beyond production, Lonnie is deeply interested in storytelling through music, photography, digital art, and experimental media. He is particularly drawn to projects that blend realism with surrealism while exploring identity, emotion, and human connection.
